2011-2012 Membership Special for new members!

Professionals who join IFDA July 1-December 31, 2011 will receive the balance of the 2011 membership year and the entire 2012 membership year of January 1-December 31, 2012 for $350.00.

Current professional members will be able to renew their memberships for 2012 for $300 during the period of November 1-December 31, 2011. Look for a discount code to arrive with your renewal from IFDA.

Starting January 1, 2012 all new and renewing professional memberships will be $350.

Student memberships, new and renewing are $45 per calendar year.

Retired memberships, new and renewing are $75 per calendar year.

  • A copy of our annual printed directory containing contact information for all members/companies designed to help facilitate communications among the various segments of our industry.
  • Membership in the IFDA Educational Foundation (www.IFDAEF.org), the educational and philanthropic arm of the association. The Foundation awards grants and scholarships to individuals, chapters and associations.

Membership Categories

Professional Members include full-time managers or executives in the furnishings or design industry; or whose function deals with the design industry exclusively. Others include managers, supervisors, executives or associates who work in a design related field; or who spend less that 50 percent of their time in the design industry. (Membership term is a calendar year.)

Student Members: Individuals who are currently enrolled and continue to be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a field related to the design and furnishings industry and not currently working full-time in the design and furnishing field are eligible for Student Membership in the Association. Valid student ID must accompany application, as well as declared major and intended year of graduation. (Membership term is a calendar year).

Retired Members are any renewing IFDA member in good standing, for a minimum of 5 years, who has retired from active business and request retired status from the Worldwide Headquarters. (Membership term is a calendar year)
